Professional Development Program

Our flagship program is a private experience for vetted individuals aligned with IIG’s mission, values and cultural fit. Each cohort builds on the momentum of those who have graduated before them.

Orientation

Cohort members set development goals, connect with their cohort circle and meet the advisory circle.

Immersive learning

Monthly board meeting sessions, AICD-supported governance intensives led by Dr Matthew Turnour FAICD and mentoring conversations build capability and confidence.

Strategic contribution

Members contribute to IIG board-style meetings, applying new skills in real decision-making spaces.

Alumni pathways

Graduates continue as mentors, advisors or program facilitators, paying the investment forward.

Program snapshot

  • Duration: 12 months with monthly advisor meetings and additional extracurriculurs.
  • Audience: 8–12 members guided by advisors per cohort.
  • Investment: Free to join. $150 AUD auxiliary cost payable at commencement (sponsorship support available).
  • Publicity: Participation implies consent for photography/video; opt-out available by contacting the team.

Participants complete the Australian Institute of Company Directors governance curriculum facilitated by Dr Matthew Turnour FAICD, gaining risk, compliance and financial literacy essentials for serving on boards and leading ventures.

Monthly meetings with advisors simulate boardroom dynamics, giving members a safe space to contribute strategically and refine their leadership voice.

We provide the structure, accountability and community needed to sustain momentum during and after the program.

  • Resources & tools Access frameworks, templates, readings and toolkits tailored to each cohort.
